Research question Post #2

In the middle of the chaos surrounding the United States government, the Affordable Care Act has regained the spotlight with many American citizens. My main research question on the topic of the Affordable Care Act pertains to, will healthcare and the general wellness of American citizens benefit from a system overhaul? Currently I would respond to this by answering with a firm response of No, I see very many down falls to having the government control our healthcare system. One reason for this is the fact that most specialty doctors have already confirmed the fact that if this happens some will retire but most would take their practices else where due to the fact that would never make the money that they feel like they deserve for the money, energy, and time they put into their schooling so they could become a doctor.

Other's however, might argue that the Affordable Healthcare Act is great due to the fact that it provides benefits for people who would not normally have access to these benefits, as well as, it will force businesses to eventually have to provide all their workers with healthcare benefits. Some other points I would like to further look into on this topic would be how this Act effects individuals and families, and how will the Affordable Healthcare Act impact the still fragile economy?
